CEFTI 1000 comprises ceftiofur, a new generation antibiotic that belongs to the 3rd generation cephalosporin group and has broad-spectrum activity, making it useful in the treatment of the following conditions:
E. Salmonella causes diarrhea, white feces, and yellow stools in those who are infected with E. coli.
– Pneumonia, bronchitis, septicemia, bacteremia, stamping

Ingredient: each 1 ml contains

Ceftiofur HCl ………………………………………………..100 mg

Excipients qs ………………………………………………1 ml

Spectrum of activity:

Ceftiofur is a third generation cephalosporin which is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including b-lactamase producing strain, beta-lactams act by interfering with synthesis of the bacterial cell wall

Indication :

• Treatment of bacteria sensitive to ceftiofur
• For the treatment of bacterial respiratory disease associated with mannheimia , haemolytica , pasteurella multocida and histophilus sommi.
• For treatment of acute interdigital necrobacillosis (panaritium, foot root), associated with fusobacterium necrophorum and bacteroides melaninogenicus
• Acute mastitis

Contraindication :

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to ceftiofur or other beta lactam antibiotics.

Dosage :

Intramuscular (IM) injection or subcutaneous s/c.

The general dosage: 1 ml per 50 Kg body weight per day for 3-5 days.

Withdrawal times :

Meat: 8 days

Milk: 0 days

Storage condition:

Store in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight below 30 c
