BROMHEXINA INYECTABLE – EQUISYSTEMS – 100ML

FORMULA BROMHEXINA INYECTABLE – EQUISYSTEMS – 100ML:
Bromhexine Hydrochloride 300 mg.
Excipients csp 100 ml.

INDICATIONS: Acute and chronic bronchitis. Dry (irritative) cough. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Viral lung diseases (as symptomatic treatment). Equine adenitis. In all bronchial conditions where it is necessary to reduce the viscosity of mucus and promote expectoration.

SPECIES: Intended for sporting equines. Do not use on equines that may be intended for human food consumption.

DOSAGE AND ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION:
In horses of normal size (500 kg): 15 ml. twice a day (every 12 hours).
In smaller animals: 3.3 ml for every 100 kg. of live weight, twice a day (every 12 hours).
It is preferably administered by SLOW INTRAVENOUS ROUTE.
If the IV route is not possible, it can be administered by INTRAMUSCULAR ROUTE
. The duration of treatment depends on the condition and the criteria of the treating professional. In acute cases, 5 days of treatment may be sufficient.
In chronic conditions, 10/15 days or more are usually necessary.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not administer to animals suspected of suffering from digestive disorders. This product is absolutely incompatible with sodium chloride solutions.

STORAGE: Store between 5º C and 25º C and away from direct sunlight. Under these conditions, the product’s shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacture.
